Terms of Service

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

1. Eligibility and age requirements

Our Services are intended for users age 13 and older, unless a higher age is specified for a particular game or required by law. If you meet the minimum age but cannot independently enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. Parents and guardians who allow a child to use the Services should supervise that use and manage purchase permissions through the applicable device or app-store settings.

You may not use the Services where doing so would violate applicable law.

2. Permission to use the Services

Subject to these Terms and applicable app-store terms, KeyboardLines grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for your own non-commercial entertainment. This does not transfer ownership of the games, software, artwork, audio, designs, trademarks, or other content to you.

Use the Services only through authorized versions and distribution channels, in accordance with platform rules and applicable law. All rights not expressly granted remain with KeyboardLines or the relevant rights holder.

3. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information, including data practices, advertising choices, retention, security, and privacy rights. Agreeing to these Terms does not itself provide consent where the law requires separate consent; we will seek that consent separately when required.

4. Accounts and connected services

A Service may offer a profile or connection to a third-party account. Where those features are available, you are responsible for providing accurate information when requested and protecting your account and device from unauthorized access. Do not impersonate someone else, use another person's account without permission, or sell or transfer an account unless we expressly allow it.

Third-party sign-in services have their own terms, and their availability can affect linked features. Progress sync, purchase restoration, and account recovery depend on the features supported by the relevant game and platform; do not assume progress or purchases will transfer between devices, platforms, or games.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use cheats, bots, altered clients, or other tools that manipulate gameplay or provide an unfair advantage.
• Exploit bugs or security weaknesses to obtain unauthorized scores, rewards, items, or access.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the Services, introduce malicious software, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or unlawfully discriminate against users or staff.
• Submit unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful content.
• Collect another person's personal information without permission.
• Copy, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit the Services or their content without authorization.
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Services except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Misuse payments, refunds, promotions, rewards, or the Services in violation of applicable law or third-party terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Services and their content (including software, artwork, graphics, characters, game designs, audio, text, logos, and trademarks) belong to KeyboardLines or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. Except as these Terms or applicable law permit, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use that material without permission. These Terms do not limit rights that applicable law gives you.

7. Player content and public features

Some Services may permit usernames, profile pictures, messages, or other user-submitted material (“Player Content”). You retain the rights you hold in Player Content, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and technically adapt it as reasonably needed to operate the feature through which you submit it. This license lasts while the content is available through that feature, plus a limited period needed for backups, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

You must have the rights needed to provide Player Content. Information placed in public features, such as profiles, scores, or rankings, may be visible to others. We may remove content that violates these Terms or law, and may correct or remove scores or leaderboard entries affected by cheating, technical errors, or manipulation.

8. Virtual items and in-game features

Where offered, a game may include virtual currency, boosters, hints, cosmetic items, or other digital content (“Virtual Items”). Virtual Items grant a limited right to use the relevant content in the game; they do not grant ownership of the game or its intellectual property.

Unless we say otherwise, Virtual Items may be used only in the game, account, or platform through which they were received; cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged outside the game, or redeemed for cash; may be consumed during play; and may not transfer across games or platforms. The purchase description explains what is included. Refunded or reversed purchases may result in removal of the related entitlement, subject to applicable law.

9. Purchases, payments, refunds, and subscriptions

For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the relevant platform processes payment under the payment method and terms associated with your account. KeyboardLines does not directly charge your payment card or store its complete details. We may receive transaction information needed to verify purchases, provide content, prevent fraud, and assist with support as described in our Privacy Policy.

Prices, taxes, and purchase conditions are shown before purchase. You must be authorized to use the selected payment method. Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases should be submitted through Apple's Report a Problem; Google Play purchases are governed by Google Play's applicable refund process.

If subscriptions are offered, their price, duration, included features, renewal terms, and trial conditions are shown before purchase. Apple subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends and can be managed through Apple Account subscription settings. Google Play subscriptions renew under the terms shown at purchase and can be managed through Google Play Payments & subscriptions settings. Deleting the app or account does not itself cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while access continues for the paid period; it does not automatically refund earlier charges.

10. Advertising and third-party services

The Services may display advertising or link to third-party websites, products, or services. Advertising choices are described in the Privacy Policy. Third parties operate under their own terms, and an advertisement does not mean KeyboardLines endorses the advertised product or service. Where an ad-removal purchase is offered, its description determines which advertising it removes.

11. Promotions and competitions

We may offer promotions, competitions, or special events. Additional rules may state eligibility, entry requirements, time limits, and prizes. Those rules apply to the relevant promotion and control if they conflict with these Terms, to the extent allowed by law. Participation does not guarantee a prize unless the specific rules say otherwise.

12. Updates and availability

We may update the Services to improve functionality, maintain security, correct errors, satisfy legal requirements, or make reasonable content and gameplay changes. Some features require an internet connection, compatible hardware, or current game and operating-system versions.

We aim to keep the Services available, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, technical issues, and events outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability. If we discontinue a game or substantially reduce a paid feature, we will provide reasonable notice where practical and any remedy required by law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, or end access if we reasonably believe you have materially or repeatedly violated these Terms, engaged in cheating, fraud, unlawful activity, or a security threat, created risk for users or the Services, or where the law requires action. We will consider the nature and seriousness of the issue and, where reasonable, provide notice and an opportunity to respond. Immediate action may be necessary for serious violations, security risks, or legal obligations.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Ending access does not eliminate refund or other rights that law gives you, and subscriptions must still be canceled through the applicable app store.

14. Warranties and responsibility

We will provide the Services with the care and skill required by applicable law. Subject to mandatory legal rights, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, freedom from every error, compatibility with every device, or specific scores, rankings, rewards, or outcomes unless expressly promised in a purchase description or promotion rule.

15. App-store terms

Games downloaded through an app store are also subject to that store's terms. Apple App Store downloads are subject to Apple's applicable end-user license terms unless a valid custom license is provided. Google Play downloads are subject to applicable Google Play terms. These Terms supplement, rather than replace, relevant platform terms; platform rules control where they govern the same issue.

16. Changes and general provisions

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, legal requirements, security needs, or business operations. We will update the last-updated date and provide reasonable notice of material changes where required. Changes will not retroactively remove rights related to an existing purchase or dispute.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent allowed by law. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. We may transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, reorganization, or business transfer, provided this does not reduce your contractual or mandatory legal protections. These Terms, applicable purchase terms, promotion rules, and app licenses govern your use of the Services.
